About Us

OUR STORY

Founded in 2010, the U.S. African Cup (USAC) has grown into one of the most respected and competitive African soccer tournaments in the United States.


In 2024, USAC expanded by adding two additional competitions: the Over 35 Legends Cup and the Worcester Youth Soccer Tournament, creating a full weekend experience for players, families, and supporters of all ages.


Together, these events form a powerful weekend celebration of football, culture, and community—bringing teams and supporters from across the country to compete, connect, and unite through the beautiful game.

Our mission is to use sports as a powerful tool to promote unity, leadership, cultural pride, and positive community impact, while creating opportunities for athletes to showcase their talent on a highly competitive stage.

TOURNAMENT DIVISIONS

YOUTH CLUB DIVISION

1. The Worcester Youth Cup Tournament is a competitive youth soccer event created to provide young athletes with the opportunity to develop their skills, gain tournament experience, and compete in a positive and organized environment.


As part of the U.S. African Cup (USAC) Weekend, the Worcester Youth Cup brings together youth teams from Worcester and surrounding communities for a weekend of exciting matches, sportsmanship, and player development. The tournament is designed to promote teamwork, discipline, and leadership while encouraging young players to grow both on and off the field.


The Worcester Youth Cup is more than just a competition—it is a platform for youth development, community unity, and cultural connection through the game of soccer. Families, supporters, and local communities come together to celebrate the next generation of talent in a fun and family-friendly atmosphere.

TEAM REGISTRATION

LEGENDS CLUB DIVISION (OVER 35)

2. The Legends Cup Tournament is a competitive Over 35 soccer division created to honor experienced players who continue to represent their communities with passion, skill, and leadership.


As part of the U.S. African Cup (USAC) Weekend, the Legends Cup brings together veteran teams from across the region for a weekend of high-level competition, sportsmanship, and cultural unity. The tournament provides an opportunity for former stars and long-time players to stay active, compete at a strong level, and showcase the beautiful game with class and experience.


The Legends Cup is more than just soccer—it is a celebration of football heritage, brotherhood, and community pride. It offers fans the chance to watch respected players and leaders compete while promoting unity, respect, and lifelong friendships through the game.

MEN’S CLUB DIVISION

3. The U.S. African Men’s Club Tournament is the main competition of the U.S. African Cup (USAC) Weekend and is widely recognized as one of the most competitive African men’s soccer tournaments in the United States.


Each year, club teams from across the country travel to compete for the prestigious U.S. African Cup Championship Title. The tournament showcases high-level talent, intense competition, and passionate supporters, creating an unforgettable atmosphere filled with energy and pride.


More than just a tournament, the U.S. African Men’s Club Tournament represents unity through sport—bringing together players and communities from different cultural backgrounds to compete with respect, build friendships, and celebrate African excellence through football.
